THE STORY
Packaging & Promotions was founded in 2010 by Alan Teague. When his employer sold the division he worked for, Alan looked for his next adventure. He realized there were very few options for small to mid-sized companies to find top-quality packaging like bottles, jars and caps at reasonable prices. There are huge manufacturers that require a truckload minimum or more, and there are distributors with high overhead. Alan partnered with a small number of reputable manufacturers that want to serve growing companies. If you can eliminate a salesperson with a big salary, company car and benefits, double-handling of the bottles and caps (and the accompanying double carbon footprint), savings result. We are all about saving our customers money, and delivering responsible packaging with high quality and a personal touch.
That covers the packaging side, so what about the Promotions part? Almost all of Alan’s customers attend trade shows, exhibit at trade shows, sponsor a golf outing/ safety contest/sports team, or promote their companies in other ways. In 2010 Alan partnered with a Denver-area distributor and former vendor, ProCorp Images, to offer virtually any promotional product imaginable. It seemed a good fit to add Promotions to the business, plus he liked the sound of the name: Packaging & Promotions, LLC. Bam!
